Job Purpose

Vulcan Forms is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician with a strong background in delivering exceptional IT service and end‑user support. The ideal candidate has experience supporting fast‑paced organizations with diverse technical needs across engineering, manufacturing, operations, executive leadership, and corporate functions, including environments that require reliable support for 24/7 manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be flexible and flourish in a fast paced and challenging environment.

They should be a self‑starter and have excellent motivation, leadership, and ingenuity to excel at this position.

As part of the IT team, you will provide end‑to‑end lifecycle support for employee technology, including onboarding, device provisioning, software installation, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, asset management, and secure device recovery. You will also contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing support of end‑user technologies, including workstation infrastructure, printing services, and conference room systems, helping ensure a reliable and seamless technology experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tier 1–3 technical support to Vulcan Forms employees, resolving hardware, software, network, and endpoint issues while ensuring a high‑quality end‑user experience.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, inventory management, deployment, maintenance, recovery, and secure disposal.
  • Provision, configure, deploy, and support employee workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals to enable new hires and ongoing business operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues through both in‑person and remote support.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop, label, and multifunction printing solutions to ensure reliable day‑to‑day operations.
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity issues, including device configuration, VLAN assignments, and endpoint connectivity.
  • Configure and support network‑connected production equipment and specialized manufacturing devices, partnering with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, reliable integration.
  • Partner with IT engineering and cross‑functional teams to identify recurring issues, improve support workflows, and implement scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support and maintain conference room, audio/visual, and video conferencing technologies across Vulcan Forms locations, ensuring a seamless collaboration experience.
  • Provide AV support for company meetings and events, including occasional after‑hours support for critical business activities.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides, translating complex technical concepts into practical, easy‑to‑follow instructions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
