Job Description

Local bakery manufacturing facility is seeking a detail‐oriented Warehouse Administrative Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, enjoys problem‐solving, and can communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, warehouse staff, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, and GMP requirements for all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Serve as the facility’s primary logistics contact for suppliers, carriers, and customers
  • Prepare and maintain all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, and invoices
  • Coordinate and monitor daily outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and product integrity
  • Maintain accurate ERP entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 , ensuring data integrity
  • Review freight bills, verify accuracy, and resolve cost or damage discrepancies
  • Process and track freight claims for damaged or refused shipments, coordinating resolutions with carriers and customers
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, or inventory management
  • Experience with ERP systems (
    Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred )
  • Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage carrier or supplier relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to delegate tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
    Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
  • Flexible schedule to support varying production and shipping needs
Preferred Experience
  • Background in food manufacturing logistics or cold chain operations
  • Familiarity with FDA, USDA, and DOT regulations related to food transportation
  • Experience with cost analysis, freight optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Leadership or coordination experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
  • Strong coaching, training, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8–12 hours
  • Regular lifting, pushing, or pulling 30–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs with assistance)
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, or humid environments
  • Ability to read labels, follow color‐coded instructions, and hear alarms in noisy areas
