Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing assigned cleaning duties in apartments, interior and exterior common areas, and amenities.
- Clean resident apartments—including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
- Distribute laundered articles and linens to residents.
- Clean public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust furniture and equipment, and polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Perform all laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident laundry.
- Maintain resident laundry areas: mop floors, wash walls, and check lint traps regularly.
- Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
- Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
- Sanitize equipment and supplies, and stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
- Collaborate with maintenance to keep trash and dumpster areas clean.
- Request maintenance work orders for repairs and report safety or maintenance issues promptly to a supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned.
- Successfully complete all company‑specified training programs.
- Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuum).
- Work various schedules and shifts as required.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
- General knowledge of sanitation.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Basic computer skills.
