Manufacturing ​/ Production Technician, Electronics Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Newburyport, MA
. Candidate must support electrical and electro‑mechanical builds with the technical proficiency needed to assemble, repair, and test components using schematics and measurement equipment. NOTE- 2nd Shift 3:45PM- 2:15 AM

Rate Range: $28/hour to $30/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Assemble and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum components using schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair activities to identify errors, correct faults, and ensure assemblies meet required specifications.
• Operate test fixtures, measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to verify functionality of assemblies and subassemblies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all health, safety, and security procedures.
• Inspect incoming parts for defects, verify part availability, and contribute to process improvements.
• Record work progress, labor details, and test results in computer systems to support accurate documentation and traceability.

• Candidate must have a relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or electro‑mechanical technology.
• 3-5 Years of experience required.
• Candidate must have hands‑on capability to assemble, test, and repair electrical and electro‑mechanical components using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment.
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot assemblies, inspect parts for defects, and operate test fixtures and measurement tools to ensure accurate and reliable results.

$28.00 to $30.00 per hour
