Due to rapid growth, BCA is seeking an Experienced MIG Welder to join our team. To qualify for this position an individual must be capable of meeting the requirements below and have applicable experience. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Responsibilities- Reads engineering prints and/or manufacturing bills of material, and/or verbal/written instructions to determine necessary requirements for the job
- Selects welding procedures best suited for the type of work and materials involved
- As required, assemble/weld parts in jigs or fixtures
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Uses a variety of precision measuring tools, calipers, etc., inspect and verify conformance of parts to specifications/tolerances
- Strictly follows all safety requirements for welding, forklift truck, hoist operations and housekeeping
- Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job
- High School diploma or GED. Technical school welding certification training preferred. OTJ training accepted
- Min 2 years of stainless steel MIG welding experience
- Must be a team player, enthusiastic, motivated, and self-driven
- Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings
- Knowledge of precision measuring procedures
- Good organizational skills
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines
