Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sanitation Assistants to join their team. As a Sanitation Assistant, you will be part of the Sanitation Department supporting the plant's cleanliness and safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Newburyport, MA

Pay Range: $18.29 per hour

Shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday–Thursday

What's the Job?

• Work as part of a team to meet the plant's sanitation needs
• Clean equipment, utensils, barrels, and other assigned items
• Maintain facility areas including floors, bathrooms, doors, walls, and windows
• Collect and dispose of trash and cardboard in proper recycling receptacles and operate balers
• Operate sanitation equipment such as steam cleaners, foamers, and automatic floor scrubbers

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to perform duties at a pace consistent with department expectations
• Strong manual dexterity and motor skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform overhead lifting and bending
