CNC Lathe Machinist

• Personal computer knowledge desired.

We are currently hiring a lathe set up machinist. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to learn and expand their experience.

• Under supervision, set-up and operate one or more CNC Lathes.
• Operate secondary equipment and perform any other functions within the department that may be necessary.
• Using defined processes and prescribed operation sequences, operate one or more CNC machines to close tolerance to achieve quality specifications. Producing moderate to moderately complex components.
• This could include adjustments to tooling, machines, and/or part programs.
• During the machining cycle, perform your own part inspection using a broad range of precision inspection equipment.
• Simultaneous to CNC machining operation, perform a variety of secondary operations as required.
• Maintain the highest degree of safety always.
• Other duties as assigned

• Some machine shop experience
• Vocational trade’s high school diploma or equivalent, formal trades apprenticeship preferred.
• Personal computer knowledge desired.
• Live tooling experience
• 3-5 years experience

From $22.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift

• Machining: 1 year (Preferred)
