Shift-7:30am-4pmA Lamination Operator sets up, runs, and maintains industrial machines that bond multiple layers of material together using heat, pressure, or adhesives. [1]

• Machine Setup:
  Prepare the laminator by setting edge guides, adjusting tension, speed, temperature, and pressure, and threading films or raw materials. [1, 2, 3]
• Material Handling:
  Load rolls, plastic films, foils, or fabrics, and select or mix proper adhesives for the production run. [1, 2, 3]
• Operation & Monitoring:
  Run test samples, monitor the machine during production, and adjust settings to prevent bubbles, wrinkles, or alignment errors. [1, 2, 3]
• Quality Control:
  Inspect finished products to ensure they match customer specifications and safety standards. [1, 2, 3]
• Maintenance & Safety:
  Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor repairs, keep the work area clean, and follow safety rules like wearing protective gear. [1, 2, 3]
• Record Keeping:
  Complete production logs, track material usage, and record any downtime or scrap. [1]

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

12 months of manufacturing or machine-operating experience.

Skills:

Basic math and reading skills to follow blueprints, work orders, or job tickets in English

Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long shifts, walk, and lift heavy items
