SUMMARY: The Greenfab Screen Printer II works autonomously and is responsible for printing conductive patterns and vias onto ceramic green tape and laminating sub-layers to build multilayer HTCC assemblies. This role supports critical steps in the formation of ceramic packages by ensuring accurate printing, alignment, and bonding of layers in accordance with engineering specifications and process standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate screen printing equipment (MPM or equivalent) to print:
• Conductive traces
• Surface metallization patterns
• Align screens and tape for proper registration and print accuracy
  .
• Control process parameters:
• Squeegee pressure and speed
• Paste deposition and thickness
• Handle and stage green ceramic tape sheets used in HTCC processing.
• Maintain material integrity, preventing:
• Mechanical damage
• Prepare conductive pastes and materials for printing operations.
• Record process data, lot information, and inspection result in process travelers:
• Maintain traceability for materials, prints, and lamination builds.
• Complete all documentation accurately and in real time.
• Maintain labor allocation by signing into production jobs and logging labor time.
• Perform inspection of printed and laminated layers including:
• Print registration and quality
• Via fill completeness
• Lamination alignment and integrity
• Identify acceptable vs. nonconforming material based on:
• Drawings
• Work instructions
• Product routers
• Segregate and report defects to supervision.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and understand English as it pertains to procedures and work instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude for assembly of multi-layer screen printed laminations
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills and processes to various jobs

EDUCATION AND/OR

EXPERIENCE:

• High school education or equivalent is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• 3+ years of experience with Screen printing processes
