Security Officer Unarmed Patrol – Newburyport, MA. Position Type:
Part Time. Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour.

• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and conditions that may require follow‑up.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor access as directed by site policies, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and security‑related concerns, while providing clear communication and professional assistance during routine and unexpected events.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
