We are looking for an Assistant Bank Manager to join our team in Newcastle. The Assistant Bank Manager plays a key role in partnering with the Bank Manager to make a proactive impact on our employees and customers.
The Assistant Bank Manager is an hourly in-person position and reports to the Bank Manager.
Essential Functions Management & Development- Coach employees to effectively identify opportunities with customers
- Manage employees’ work schedules, monitor overtime, and assign tasks as needed
- Train and supervise employees to ensure operational, sales & service, and professional development
- Ensure employees adhere to all bank policies and procedures
- Participate in community events
- Model a culture of positive employee morale and ownership
- Resolve customer complaints and questions
- Responsible for operational excellence and soundness of bank location
- Prepare team and location for annual regulatory audits
- Partner with communication team to maximize community impact
- Guide employees in escalated or difficult workplace situations
- Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environment
- Process routine customer transactions as well as assist employees with more complex transactions
- Respond to customer needs to create positive solutions.
- Generate non-interest income
- Grow market share in both deposits and loans

Position Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent
- Teller or related experience within a bank or credit union
- Proven knowledge of banking products and services as well as standard banking procedures and regulations
- Must have a current Notary Public or be willing to become one (at the bank’s expense)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information professionally and clearly
- Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and high integrity
Training consists of a combination of in-person instruction and hands‑on practice in our Learning Lab, observation within a bank location and completion of online training courses. Incumbent must successfully complete teller training prior to being assigned to operate a teller drawer.
Other Requirements- Must reside in Oklahoma and pass a background and credit check
Monday through Friday 7:15 am to 6:15 pm and Saturday from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm.
Full‑time employees are scheduled for 40 hours per week within these times.
