Early Years Practitioner

GSL Education are currently recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Newcastle
. This Early Years Practitioner role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children during the most important stage of their development.

As an Early Years Practitioner
, you will work closely with the early years team to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework. The setting is keen to appoint an Early Years Practitioner who is caring, patient, and committed to creating a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities.

Delivering activities in line with the EYFS curriculum as an Early Years Practitioner
.

Supporting children’s social, emotional, and personal development.

Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis where required.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Providing a high standard of safeguarding and pastoral care as an Early Years Practitioner
.

Be available to work Monday to Friday.

Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).

Be warm, patient, and enthusiastic.

Have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
