Compensation: £39,760 - £41,760 / year
- Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Help shape brighter futures through consistency, compassion, and resilience.
- Work as part of a dedicated team in a 365-day service, with advance rotas and long shifts (8am–11pm) including sleep-in nights.
- Annual salary: £39,760 – £41,760, depending on your qualifications and experience — this includes an average of 8 sleep-in shifts per month.
- Boost your income with enhanced overtime rates and opportunities for additional shifts.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Level 3 qualification in Child Care.
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in children’s residential care.
- Must be 21+ and have the right to work in the UK (we’re unable to offer sponsorship).

Nightingale is a Three bedroom children’s home, offering crisis intervention and trauma‑informed therapeutic care. Our young people receive the highest quality residential care, as well as taking part in recreational activities tailored to the child’s interests e.g. cinema, swimming and sports, etc.
