Wage

$17.26 - $22.84 Based on education and experience.

Job Summary

Assist in planning, developing, and promoting a high quality child care program.

Qualifications

Demonstrate the ability to perform the primary functions of this position. Must possess strong verbal communication skills and have the ability to work with and lead a diverse group of people. Prior child care experience required. A degree or courses in Child Development or Education strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Child Development or Education

Duties
  • Collaborate with the Site Supervisor to plan daily activities for children Kindergarten through 4th grade
  • Ability to complete trainings and collaborate with the Site Supervisor
  • Provide direct supervision to the children enrolled in the program.
  • Provide customer service and establish relationships with parents and children in the program. Work with parents and district staff to plan for and provide reasonable accommodations to ensure student success in the program.
  • Ability to address and resolve student discipline issues and relay information to the Site Supervisor when follow up is necessary.
  • Direct staff in the K-4 Adventure Club program. This involves assigning staff to daily tasks, mentoring them, etc.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Site Supervisor or Child Care Coordinator.
  • Responsibilities during the summer program TBD. When needed, our Assistant Site Supervisors may work with our K – 4 or Middle School program during the summer months.
