Location: Jesmond

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary, until July 2026

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their earliest stages of learning and development? An outstanding primary school in Newcastle are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic unqualified Early Years Assistant to join their vibrant and nurturing Early Years team.

• Support the Nursery and/or Reception Teacher with day to day task and assessment.
• Controbute to the safe and stimulating learning environment for all children, including those who are most vulnerable.
• Assist with daily routines including play, learning activities, and personal care when required.
• Work as part of a supportive and experienced team committed to providing the highest quality of education.

• Is enthusiastic, caring, and committed to working with young children.
• Has good communication and teamwork skills.
• Shows a genuine passion for early years education and child development.
• Is eager to learn and develop in a supportive school environment with experienced education professionals.
