Ecologist​/Ornithologist

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Ecologist with 1.5+ years full‑time experience in nature conservation or ecological consultancy to join our Newcastle team.

We have specialist work in ornithology, including wader and farmland bird studies.

You will have:

• 1.5+ years full‑time ecological consultancy experience.
• A broad ecological skill‑set, ideally with protected species licences.
• Working knowledge of wildlife policy and legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Project management and client liaison skills.
• Enthusiasm for UK ecology and the environment.
• A desire to promote high professional standards in ecology.
• An organized, flexible and motivated work approach.
• Good BSc and/or MSc in a relevant subject.
• Full driving licence and own transport.
