A leading UK building services contractor is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled AC professional who enjoys varied installation work, nationwide travel, and delivering high-quality projects across commercial and critical environments.

• Installation & Commissioning: Install a range of AC and refrigeration systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, chillers, and close control systems.
• Carry out full commissioning, testing, and project handover procedures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
• Oversee and coordinate sub‑contractor activity where required.
• Compliance & Safety: Work in line with F‑Gas regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Maintain clear, accurate installation and commissioning documentation.
• Follow site safety protocols, RAMS, and company procedures.

• F‑Gas Category 1 (2079) certification
• Strong proven background in AC installation
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Experience working within critical environments (e.g. data centres)
• Understanding of BMS/controls
• IPAF / PASMA certifications
• Safe isolation competency

• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Excellent customer‑facing and communication skills
• High attention to detail and quality of workmanship
• Effective time management and ability to prioritise workloads

• Basic salary up to £43,000 (depending on experience) + significant overtime earnings
