Fire & Security Service Engineer

Position: Fire & Security Service Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

FWA Talent Specialists are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Fire & Security client, who are looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to their expanding Service Department.

🔧 The Role

You’ll play a key role delivering high-quality service support across the North of England, working with systems including:

* TECS

* Fire Alarms

* Intruder Alarms

* CCTV

* Access Control Systems

🛠 Key Responsibilities

* Attend reactive repair call-outs and carry out planned preventative maintenance

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies and procedures

* Maintain client confidentiality at all times

* Deliver outstanding service to exceed client expectations

* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

👤 What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience with Fire & Security systems (TECS, Fire, Intruder, CCTV, Access Control)

* Strong communication and customer-facing skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

* Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workload

* Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

* Experience with integrated Fire & Security systems and a good understanding of networking

Desirable (but not essential):

* ECS / CSCS card

* IPAF and/or PASMA certification

Essential:

* Full UK Driving Licence
