Water Technician – Level 1

The successful candidate will be ideally based in the North Shields area and will cover sites in the North East region.

• Salary £25,397-£28,500 (depending on experience), in addition to your basic salary there are significant opportunities to earn bonuses and overtime is readily available.
• 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
• 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. After 2 complete years' continuous service with the Company you will be entitled to one extra day of holiday for every complete year of service thereafter, to a maximum of 25 days.
• 10 extra paid days leave for Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers to attend their annual training.
• Travel Time unpaid, 1 hour each day.

• Water sampling.
• Monitor water temperatures.
• Perform descaling of shower heads and hoses.
• Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
• Carry out tank cleans.

• Previous water hygiene experience (essential).
• Hold a full manual driving licence.
• Confined space trained (advantageous).
• Take pride in your work and deliver exceptional service.
