Based at our regional office in Belmont, Durham, with set days out in the community and to attend college
Pay, £21,216 (under 20) - £24,853 (21 and over)
Hours, 37.5 hours per week
51 month Fixed-term apprenticeship, with the potential for a permanent role at the end

About the roleYou'll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands‑on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.
You’ll learn how to:
- Inspection, testing, installation and fault‑finding skills
- Safe working practices and risk awareness
- Work safely on site, following health and safety guidelines
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping
- Progress through applying learning, working safely and gaining independence toward qualified status.
Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship, delivered by New College Durham
You’ll combine on‑the‑job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long‑term career.
Who we’re looking forWe’re looking for people who:
- Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-4 (A*-C)
- Are IT confident, or at the very least have a basic understanding
- Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both, verbal and written
- Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment
- Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
