Due to continued company growth, our client is recruiting for a multi-skilled Water Hygiene Plumber, ideally in the North East of England. You will be responsible for conducting necessary system repairs and servicing, in line with recommendations from legionella risk assessments. We are seeking someone who is able to operate independently on site, ensuring to work to agreed scope and deadlines.

Our client is a national outfit who specialise within Water Hygiene / Legionella, who can offer excellent further progression. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: vehicle, overtime and fuel card.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Experience working as a Water Hygiene Plumber
  • Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Must hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
  • It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
  • Flexible to travel in line with company needs
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role
  • TMV replacements and installations
  • Deadleg removals
  • Tank inspections, refurbishments and replacements
  • Adjusting and removing pipework
  • Re-routing pipework
  • Failsafe checks
  • Servicing and replacing POU heaters
  • De-commissioning of systems
  • Producing detailed technical service reports
  • Working to agreed deadlines
