We are pleased to be partnering with our client, a leading provider of technology solutions within the heavy industrial sector. Their expertise spans structured cabling, IP surveillance systems, cyber-security, IT managed services, and connectivity solutions. Due to project requirements, they are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Supervisory experience to support the completion of a key installation project in Newcastle city centre site.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideally suited to a data cabling professional with experience in containment installation and working at height
. The position is aligned to an electrician's mate or structured cabling supervisor background rather than a telecommunications engineer. You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the completion of installation works, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Supervise and support structured cabling installation activities.
• Install and maintain containment systems.
• Complete Excel Cat6A data cabling installations.
• Carry out testing and certification using Fluke DSX equipment.
• Operate and work from cherry pickers and access equipment where required.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications and health & safety requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.

• Valid CSCS or ECS Card.
• Proven experience in structured cabling installations.
• Experience installing containment systems.
• Experience working at height and using cherry pickers/MEWPs.
• Excel Cat6A installation experience.
• Ability to conduct testing using Fluke DSX testers.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.

• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• Previous experience supervising teams on commercial installation projects.
