We are currently recruiting for a Site Fitter / Engineer to join a growing company specialising in Engineering & Rail Depot Services
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with mechanical and/or electrical experience who enjoys a hands-on role and is happy to travel to sites across the UK.

• Assisting Site Engineers with maintenance and repair work
• Maintaining carriage wash systems at rail depots across the UK
• Changing gearboxes, motors, bearings and pumps
• Carrying out pipework repairs and clearing blockages
• Pump maintenance and equipment setup
• Re-brushing machinery
• Basic electrical work and fault finding when required
• Working mainly outdoors in a wet environment

• Mechanical and/or electrical experience
• NVQ Level 3 preferred
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Willing to travel nationwide and stay away overnight when required
• Comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work
• Reliable and flexible approach to working hours

• Flexible shifts - potentially up to 14 hours including travel
• Planning hours are typically 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Some weekend work required

• £17.00 per hour basic
• £25.50 per hour overtime after 37.5 hours
• Company-funded overnight accommodation when required
• PPE provided
