Contract Telehandler Driver
Newcastle
£20–£22 per hour + Contract + Solar / Renewables Project
Are you an experienced Telehandler Driver looking for your next contract opportunity within the renewables sector? Our client is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious operator to support a solar installation project, offering an opportunity to work on site loading solar panels to first-floor level.
As a Contract Telehandler Driver, you’ll play an important role in supporting site operations, safely operating a telehandler to lift and load solar panels to the required level. Working alongside the wider site team, you’ll help ensure materials are moved efficiently and safely to keep installation work progressing.
As a Contract Telehandler Driver, your responsibilities will include:
Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on site
Lifting and loading solar panels to first-floor level
Supporting the site team with material handling and deliveries
Following site health and safety procedures at all times
The successful Telehandler Driver should have:
Valid and relevant telehandler tickets / certification
Previous experience operating a telehandler on site
A strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
