Seeking skilled and reliable Fire & Security Engineers to join our team, specialising in the maintenance and fault-finding of fire alarm and intruder systems across the North East region. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in line with industry standards.
Day to Day Duties- Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on fire alarm systems, including but not limited to Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Hyfire, and Cooper equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with BS5839 standards.
- Maintain and fault-find on intruder alarm systems such as Galaxy, Menvier, and Texecom.
- Undertake intruder system maintenance and diagnostics in line with PD6662 requirements.
- Accurately log jobs and provide detailed, clear information using CASH.
- Complete timesheets accurately and ensure they are submitted within deadlines.
- Follow company Health & Safety policies and work safely in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota as part of the engineering team.
- Drive to customer sites across the North East—full UK driving licence required.
- Minimum 3+ years’ consecutive experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer.
- Strong technical knowledge of industry-leading fire and intruder alarm systems.
- Excellent fault-finding, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839 and PD6662).
- Company Van (can opt to use for private use) and mobile
