Roofer - Slating, Tiling and Roofing

Gosforth Roofing is growing and we're looking for an experienced, time served roofer to grow with us. This isn't a stop-gap job. We want the right person to build the company with us for the long term.

We're hiring one all-round roofer who is confident in both pitched and flat roofing:

• Slating and tiling: new roofs, re-roofs and repairs in natural slate, concrete and clay tiles, including ridges, hips, valleys and leadwork
• Flat roofing: all aspects, including felt, single ply and fibreglass/GRP

• Top rates for the right candidate
• Steady work across Newcastle and the North East
• Self-employed for the first 3 months
• After 3 months, a full employment contract including pension, paid holidays and other company benefits
• The chance to grow with the company as we expand

• Time served, with proven experience in slating, tiling and flat roofing
• Someone who turns up on time, every time
• A reliable attendance record. We need someone who won't let the team down
• A high standard of workmanship and a tidy finish
• Good with customers and takes pride in the job
• Own hand tools and a driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
