Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage incoming payments, issues customer invoices, and helps maintain accurate financial records
• Recording checks, ACH transfers, wire payments and matching them to the correct customer accounts
• Checking financial records to resolve discrepancies, missing invoices or short payments
• Reviewing aging reports and contacting clients via phone or email regarding overdue balances
• Answering client questions about billing, statements or payment history

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Prior experience or education in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping or administration
• Experience using accounting software

Salary: $45,000-$50,000
