- Permanent position for a Resident Engineer for Transportation Construction Projects.
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate field inspection staff.
- Oversee onsite and offsite construction activities.
- Monitor compliance with Contract specifications, Resolve issues that arise from unforeseen conditions.
- Responsible for ensuring that project documentation is completed and submitted.
- Interpret drawings and documents.

- BS Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of ConnDOT inspection or related highway construction experience.
- PE License in Connecticut Ability to interpret written specifications, plans, and construction documents.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, and inspectors.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and the ability to learn applicable time reporting and budgeting programs.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
