Overview
Our trusted customer is seeking an experienced Sitework Foreman in Newington, NH for a full‑time opportunity leading civil construction and site development projects.
Job Duties- Lead and supervise sitework crews on civil construction and site development projects
- Perform and oversee site layouts, foundation layouts, and grading operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, site plans, and grading drawings
- Utilize GPS and rover equipment for layout, grade checking, and project accuracy
- Manage daily field operations, ensuring productivity and quality workmanship
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
- Operate heavy equipment as needed while directing crew activities
- Use Procore for project documentation, communication, scheduling, and reporting
- Oversee installation of underground utilities, drainage systems, and earthwork activities
- Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed according to specifications
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, engineers, and clients
- Experience as a Sitework Foreman, Civil Construction Foreman, or Lead Heavy Equipment Operator
- Strong background in civil construction and site development
- Surveying, GPS, and rover experience required
- Experience performing site and foundation layouts
- Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
- Skilled heavy equipment operator with excavation and earthwork experience
- Knowledge of underground utilities, grading, drainage, and site preparation
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and daily field operations
- Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
