The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (CTDOT), is now accepting applications for a Transportation Engineer 3 (Engineering) position within the Division of Traffic Engineering, Traffic Project Design, in the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, at our Headquarters in Newington, CT.

THE ROLE

Transportation Engineer 3's in the Division of Traffic Engineering lead the development of projects and initiatives that enhance the safety, capacity, and efficiency of Connecticut's transportation system. They manage and coordinate traffic designs, studies, and investigations on state roadways to address complex roadway and multi-modal challenges and reduce crashes by researching and applying innovative solutions-such as modern roadway configurations, traffic signals, signs, and pavement markings-proven to improve safety and save lives

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

* First Shift

* Full Time, 40 hours per week

* Monday through Friday

* Location:

Newington, CT

* Hybrid (in-office/telework) and alternate work schedules may be available
