Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer

As a CMM Programmer at Beacon Industries, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and executing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to support our quality inspection and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure that machined parts meet specifications and tolerance requirements.

• Develop, test, and optimize CMM inspection programs based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine measurement requirements and inspection points.
• Conduct dimensional inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot measurement issues and improve inspection procedures aligned with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during inspection processes and document all measurement data meticulously.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing measurement data and recommending process enhancements.
