Job Summary:

Advance, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking experienced CNC Vertical Mill Operators for immediate openings on our 1st shift. We specialize in producing complex, high-precision machined components, and we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field. Key Responsibilities:
  • CNC Mill Operation: Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines to produce high-precision components.
  • Tool Setup: Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work pieces as per job requirements.
  • Quality Control: Monitor machining processes, inspect finished parts, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  • Programming: Understand and interpret CNC programs and make minor program edits when required.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as tool changes and coolant management.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, job setups, and tool changes.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC vertical milling machines.
    • Proficiency in machine setup, tool selection, and workpiece fixturing.
    • Strong understanding of machining processes, speeds, and feeds.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
    • Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs pounds.
