- Develop and implement infection control programs to prevent and identify the spread of infectious agents in a healthcare environment.
- Conduct audits on infection prevention practices and provides education to staff members as well as comply with mandates for state and federal public reporting.
- Assess and treat residents with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions.
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid CPR certification
- Two (2) years of professional nursing experience in a long-term care environment
