About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pre/Post-op Eye Surgery Center provides individualized, professional patient care in the Operating Room, functioning as both Circulator and Scrub Nurse. This per diem position is ideal for those who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality care.
Highlights- Location: Newington, CT
- Facility: Hartford Hospital
- Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
- Organize and administer individualized patient care in the Operating Room.
- Function as Circulator/Scrub Nurse during surgical procedures.
- Provide nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and AORN, ASPAN standards.
- Participate in patient teaching and incorporate age/cultural needs in care planning.
- Engage in quality improvement activities.
Education:
- Current CT RN License required.
Experience:
- Previous relevant nursing experience required.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current CT RN License
- CNOR preferred
