• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, cleaning, and organizing product displays; remove damaged goods; sign and price merchandise; secure fragile and high‑shrink items.
• Maintain the sales floor in the optical area; handle claims and returns; zone the area; arrange and organize merchandise; identify shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise in the optical area; follow company procedures; operate equipment; complete paperwork logs.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers; process member purchases; assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures.
• Sell optical products and services; assist members with purchasing decisions; measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses; complete eyewear/contact lens orders; verify prescription information; maintain necessary paperwork; collect payments; perform and record optometric pre‑tests.

Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks.
