Position: Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Hiring Immediately

We're seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join a respected excavation and site development company with a strong reputation, steady work, and a growing fleet.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping projects on schedule by maintaining and repairing the equipment that drives our success. If you're a skilled mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants long-term stability with opportunities to grow, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, and support equipment
  • Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drive trains, and other critical components
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine service inspections
  • Respond to field service calls and complete on-site repairs when needed
  • Partner with operators and supervisors to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate repair records and service documentation
  • Order, install, and replace parts and components as necessary
  • Ensure equipment meets all safety, performance, and operational standards
What We're Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of heavy equipment repair and maintenance experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operations
  • Experience with excavation, earthmoving, and site development equipment preferred
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in both shop and field environments
  • Valid driver's license required
  • CDL preferred but not required
  • ASE certifications, OSHA training, and welding/fabrication experience are valued
