Position: 4342 Project Manager with Security Clearance
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead the management, execution and delivery of high performing technical teams and complex projects through all phases of the lifecycle, including initiation, planning, and iterative development. This role requires the ability to navigate technical issues and engage engineers to validate technical feasibility in addition to facilitating Agile ceremonies with the development teams, simultaneously managing high-level project constraints to include stakeholder expectations, creating and managing timelines, identifying and managing risks, monitoring progress against project goals, resolving cross-team dependencies, and conducting resource alignment.

Responsibilities include leading all Scrum ceremonies (i.e., Stand-ups, Sprint Planning Reviews, Retrospectives, Product Demonstrations) to ensure project team alignment, goals, quality, and velocity. Project governance responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, tracking milestones, managing resources, identifying, and resolving blockers that hinder team progress. Stakeholder responsibilities include acting as the primary liaison between the technical teams, Product Owners, and leadership in preparing and providing status updates/briefings, refining backlogs, managing release schedules, and roadmaps.

This position is currently partial hybrid (three days per week on-site with our customer in Lorton, VA). Remote status is subject to change at the customer's direction but is expected to continue. There will also be several workshops throughout the year where engineers will collaborate on site for one to two weeks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) required. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required.

* Experience:

Significant technical project management experience (5+ years) in an Agile development environment;
Significant experience running Agile Scrum teams, with a track record of implementing multi-year software development projects
* Technical Proficiency:
Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) and backlog management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), and Microsoft Project. DESIRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Proficiency in Atlassian, Jira, Confluence and Azure Dev Ops.
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Sec Ops .
