Network Engineer, Senior

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure voice, video, wireless, and data communication networks.
• Lead development of high‑level and low‑level network designs (HLD/LLD).
• Deploy and integrate Cisco‑based enterprise and data center solutions.
• Configure and support advanced routing protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to stakeholders and senior leadership, translating complex technical requirements into actionable strategies and architectures.
• Collaborate across multiple technical disciplines, including security, cloud, and Dev Ops.
• Operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment, managing competing priorities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement performance, reliability, and security improvements.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience.

  Skills:
  
  Routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP); LAN/WAN architecture and deployment; network monitoring and performance tools (Solar Winds, Net Flow, Wireshark); firewalls, VPNs, QoS, load balancers;
  Cisco platforms (Catalyst, Nexus, NGFW, ACI, Meraki).
• Certifications: CCNP or CCNA required, CCIE preferred.

  SDN, Cisco Catalyst Center, ISE, Intersight Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP); network automation using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform;
  Zero Trust principles and security best practices; data center technologies (VXLAN, EVPN, ACI).
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
• Location: On customer site.
• Travel: Less than 10%.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with senior leadership and influence decisions.
• Advanced problem‑solving and analytical skills.
