Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

VSC Fire & Security in Springfield, Virginia is seeking candidates for the position of Sprinkler Service Technician.

• Excellent pay $25.00 – $35.00 based on experience

• Two to three years of experience in installation of sprinkler systems
• Proficient at following written and verbal instructions, with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to establish productivity on site and set realistic goals to meet deadlines
• Competent in reading plans, documents and meters, and in discerning colors for safety signage
• Eagerness for professional development and growth
• Ability to pass various background checks
• Reliable transportation, valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record for company vehicle use
• Desirable (but not required):
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Texas candidates: RME‑I and BPAT a plus

• Install, modify, test and service sprinkler systems
• Follow design plans for installation jobs and document any changes, ensuring all deficiencies are addressed
• Manage on‑site material delivery and perform minor fabrication as required; serve as the company representative on job sites and may oversee day‑to‑day work of other employees
• Maintain proper risk management and safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies
