About the role

Our fabulous receptionist is off to a new challenge, and we are now on the hunt for an amazing person to be the face and first impressions of our notable and bustling Metlifecare Support Office.

Based in Newmarket and reporting to the Office Manager you will also enjoy being part of the wider people team, included in team meetings and learning what is happening with new initiatives first hand. Customer service is everything to us, with this role being pivotal to the smooth running of front of house and office in general. The reception area is bustling and centralised within the office, with numerous visitors arriving, so busy you will be, delivering exceptional services across the office, ensuring the atmosphere reflects the service standards we excel at.

Key

responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the reception area with a smile - being the face of our support office for visitors and contractors on site
  • Administrative support for the team and updating key documents
  • Answering incoming calls, managing queries, connecting with the appropriate contact for support
  • Facilitating feedback and ensuring an exceptional customer experience
  • General administration, accurate documentation and record keeping
  • Manage stocking stationary, kitchen and miscellaneous supplies, coordinating catering, mail and couriers

Our gorgeous large kitchen/café area has four dishwashers for example and although we are a tidy, respectful bunch and generally clean up after ourselves, this role is responsible for unstacking of the dishwashers etc

About you

We are seeking that special someone, with exceptional presentation to bring their enthusiasm, people skills, outstanding customer service skills and proactive nature to the role.

  • Previous experience in a very busy reception and or administration role would ensure you could hit the ground running
  • Ability to exercise your initiative with a can-do attitude and willingness to help to maintain the smooth running of the office
  • Adept with change, your friendly, professional and customer focused approach will reflect your ability to easily deal with whatever comes your way
  • Friendly and positive communication skills with excellent spoken and written English
  • Computer and systems savvy – intermediate MS Office suite experience
  • Happy to put your hand up to help when it is needed
