Financial Advisor, Investment & Retirement Planning - DAVIS & LESLIE
About the role
Internally known as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), the Financial Planner is a member of the branch sales team and contributes to the team’s overall success by meeting or exceeding negotiated deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of your assigned portfolio of clients. Your primary role is to establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with existing assigned clients as well as clients referred by branch partners.
Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients including retirement planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support our clients’ financial goals.
- Exhibit a natural curiosity to uncover and solve client needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
- Demonstrate self‑motivation and a goal‑oriented mindset when identifying client needs to craft personalized financial strategies and solutions.
- Foster strong engagement, educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice.
- Build relationships, focusing on providing a great client experience and growing long‑standing relationships with existing clients.
- Leverage advanced technology tools to enhance client interactions and streamline financial planning processes.
- Focus on achieving targets to ensure a balanced approach to client satisfaction and business growth.
- Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
- Successfully completed the CIFP/CFP designation or a bank‑recognized equivalent.
- Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative in good standing with licensing requirements, having completed the Investment Funds in Canada or a bank‑recognized equivalent.
