Hybrid Tax Advisor

Become a Tax Advisor & Preparer with FBC, in Newmarket, ON, focusing on personalized tax strategies. This hybrid role involves traveling to meet Members and provides comprehensive support.

In this full-time, permanent position, you will collaborate directly with Members, helping them navigate their financial situations and implement effective tax strategies. A key element of the job is connecting Members with FBC's various services like bookkeeping and estate planning. Client-focused, you'll nurture long-term Member relationships, ensuring accurate advice and preparation of T1 and T2 tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate tax and accounting advice to Members

• Build strong, lasting relationships for referrals

• Identify needs and connect Members with specialists

• Maintain records of interactions and services

• File and complete member T1 and T2 tax returns

Requirements:

• At least 1 year in tax preparation or accounting

• Proficient in Taxprep and Xero software

• Experience with small business tax returns

• Knowledge of corporate tax preparation

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
