Position: Director of Finance Role
Elevate organizational finance at CMHA as the Director of Finance located in Newmarket, ON. This full-time role is focused on strategic financial management and compliance.

Reporting to the VP Finance & Technology, this key role contributes to the organization's financial success by managing operational and compliance aspects of finances. You'll lead budgeting processes, oversee financial reporting, and ensure adherence to legislation. Your expertise will directly impact CMHA's mission in mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial accounting and reporting processes

• Develop policies for compliance with regulations

• Manage payroll administration and employee compensation

• Coordinate budget preparation for various programs

• Ensure accurate reporting on project financials

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related

• Professional designation (CPA) is necessary

• At least five years in a managerial finance role

• Familiarity with relevant legislation affecting charities

• Background in public healthcare finance preferred
