Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Accounting Services, you will leverage your expertise to produce consolidated financial statements while aiding departments in financial monitoring and forecasting.

Your role is critical in facilitating the organization’s financial reporting efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end financial closing for the Region

• Oversee debt and investment portfolio accounting

• Develop yearly councillor remuneration package

• Produce periodic financial reports to assist forecasting

• Communicate financial issues to the management team

Requirements:

• University degree in accounting, business administration, or related disciplines

• Requires a CMA or CGA designation

• At least five years in financial or accounting roles

• Familiarity with ERP financial systems

• Strong analytical skills and accounting knowledge
