Tax Preparation Specialist at FBC

Join FBC as a Tax Advisor & Preparer, focusing on personalized tax strategies in Newmarket, ON. This role combines hybrid working, travel, and direct Member interactions.

In this full-time position, you will meet Members at their business locations to assess their financial needs. Your expertise in tax preparation will be pivotal in connecting Members with various financial services offered by FBC. Emphasize your relationship-building prowess to enhance client engagement and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver detailed tax and accounting guidance to Members

• Cultivate lasting relationships to encourage referrals

• Identify needs and collaborate with internal specialists

• Maintain thorough records of all Member services

• Compile data for T1 and T2 tax return preparation

Requirements:

• At least 1 year in a tax preparation firm

• Skilled in Taxprep and Xero; iFirm knowledge a plus

• Experience with small business and farm taxes

• Proven ability to file Corporate tax returns

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
