Payroll and Benefits Administrator
Position Overview
Located in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford Mustang GTD.
Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is looking for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator that will be responsible for the complete payroll cycle along with the administration of employee benefits while maintaining confidentiality and accurate payroll records. This position is on-site.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for full-cycle administration of payroll using ADP system; new hire set up, termination, data update etc.
- Responsible for transmitting payroll to ADP
- Responsible for reviewing and distributing payroll
- Maintain employee expenses for payroll submission
- Special off-cycle payments
- Responsible for processing safety shoes reimbursement/deductions
- Responsible for maintaining personnel payroll records in AE & Workday
- Responsible for preparing record of employment
- Responsible for preparing vacation pay
- Responsible for T4 for CRA
- Responsible for reviewing vacation requests
- Responsible for maintaining/updating deductions for employee LTD premiums and Life Taxable benefit
- Perform reconciliation of payroll deduction vs LTD / Life Insurance Billing
- Responsible for maintaining and administering Benefit program with Sunlife, RBC and Canada Life, including enrollments, terminations, employee changes as necessary
- Responsible for Sunlife & RBC monthly billing, and bill payments
- Responsible for monthly garnishment and FRO remittances, and WSIB remittance and earnings reporting
- Responsible for annual WSIB and EHT annual reconciliation and T4 reconciliations
- Address stakeholders’ queries i.e. Service Canada, CRA, WSIB etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration for organizations with 500+ employees
- Proficient in Workday, ADP payroll and HRIS systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Highly organized and skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
