ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Project Manager, with strategic oversight from the Director, Business Partnerships, Employee & Labour Relations and Shared Services, this position is responsible for supporting people-centred change across a wide range of organizational, technology and process initiatives. This role develops and implements change management and communication plans, supports stakeholder engagement, monitors readiness and adoption, and contributes to the successful and sustainable organizational change initiatives that reinforces people, equity, culture, and operational readiness.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Create and manage detailed change management plans, including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, training plans, and resistance management plans across all assigned change initiatives.
  • Conduct impact analyses, stakeholder assessments, and change readiness assessments.
  • Identify potential challenges and areas of resistance, create plans to mitigate risks, and support stakeholders through the change process to encourage positive acceptance and adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on project changes ensuring confidentiality through development and implementation.
  • Work with the Communications teams to support the development and distribution of timely and relevant communications regarding change initiatives.
  • Conduct Change Readiness Assessments, analyze results, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Define, assemble, manage, and maintain a Change Champion Network to support the adoption and optimization of the solution.
  • Work closely with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans.
  • Monitor and track effectiveness of change intervention initiatives, reporting to leaders, and adjusting as needed.
  • Work with the training team to support the design and delivery of training for change initiatives.
