SummaryAuto Body Apprentice is responsible for working closely with the rest of the team to learn and execute activities as assigned by the Collision Manager or other Technicians. Apprentices should be motivated to learn and be open to feedback.
Major Responsibilities- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
- Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Perform road tests and safety inspections.
- Auto Body Repair experience is required.
- Post Secondary Education Preferred.
- In their 3rd or 4th year of apprenticeship.
- Haveyour own tools andsteel toe work boots.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational, supervisory, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated with excellent work ethic.
- Ability to problem solve and high attention to detail.
- Love for a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment where teamwork drives results.
- Working in Body Shop Department
- Expected compensation range: $21.00 - $24.00
- The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.
This compensation encompasses hourly pay and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
