Concrete Lead Hand – Maple Reinders
Job OverviewMaple Reinders is seeking a Concrete Lead Hand to support the Foreman or Superintendent on projects in Bradford, Wasaga Beach, Dundalk and surrounding areas. This role is hands‑on, combining formwork and concrete work with crew coordination, daily task direction, and layout support to meet productivity and schedule targets.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate daily activities of assigned concrete crews
- Communicate daily work plans, priorities and production targets
- Support formwork, concrete placement, stripping, and resetting of forms
- Assist with layout, elevations, and verification of dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect formwork and embedded items prior to concrete placement
- Identify and correct deficiencies before pours
- Lead by example in health and safety practices
- Participate in hazard assessments and toolbox talks
- Coordinate with Foremen, Superintendents and other trades
- Monitor productivity and assist with maintaining workflow and site logistics
- Minimum 3 years of concrete construction experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with formwork, placing, and finishing
- Knowledge of wall and slab formwork systems (Meva or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience leading small crews or acting in a senior field role
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and productivity
- Physically demanding, field‑based role
- Combination of hands‑on labour and leadership responsibilities
- Exposure to varying weather conditions
- Travel may be required depending on project location

- $43.15 - $49.14 per hour with a 5% lead hand hourly premium
