As a 310T Mechanic, your career path could advance to roles such as Mechanic Lead Hand, Shop Supervisor, Shop Foreman, Fleet Manager and beyond!
A "Day in the Life" of a 310T Mechanic at GFL Environmental- Safely operate, repair, and maintain our diverse fleet, including Hydro-vacs, dry vacs, tankers, vac trucks, roll-offs, box trucks, pickups, flat deck trailers, and more!
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and assist in coordinating repair schedules.
- Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Support new employee training and stay updated on the latest technology and techniques in the industry.
- Skilled Trades Ontario registration as a Journeyperson with a 310T license and minimum one year of experience.
- Ability to meet safety standards and operate diagnostic software
- Strong attention to detail, independent work ability
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
